When Winter Meets Spring

The weather in the capital region was special—just as it should be at this time of year. Sunshine for a moment, then a sudden snow shower. And then the sun again.
Icelandic Times / Land & Saga traveled around the capital area in search of moments—capturing images that document the beauty of this season when winter and spring almost meet.
Most of the photographs naturally became black and white; that was simply the mood of the moment. The colors will return soon enough, when summer arrives to greet both travelers and locals alike in just a few weeks.
