Akureyri Art Museum is one of Iceland’s finest museums with a huge permanent collection, contemporary exhibitions, both local and international ones.
The museum is situated in the popular art gorge in downtown Akureyri where you’ll find cafés, stores and restaurants.
They have different workshops, lectures and different classes one can join. Every Tuesday they have a lecture series hosted by artists from different sectors of the art scene.
