The Museum of Design & Applied Art

The Museum of Design & Applied Art’s focus is to collect and preserve the part of Icelandic cultural history encompassing design, especially from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day.

From the start in 1998, the museum has received the bulk of their collection as gifts but the museum also strives to to purchase objects of importance in Icelandic design history.

Editorial

Icelandic Times Magazine - the only magazine in Iceland published in English, German, French and now Chinese. Icelandic Times Magazine's sister publication Land og Saga is published in Icelandic.
