Gallery Fold presents Vindheimar a private exhibition with works by the artist Hrafnhildur Inga Sigurðardóttir.
Hrafnhildur Inga’s solo exhibition at Gallery Fold is titled Vindheimar and will open Saturday, November 4th. There, the artist shows dramatic paintings where wind, waves, clouds and nature play a central role.
“I prefer not to let anything interfere with my work except nature. Human beings, animals, vases of flowers, boats and buildings or anything unrelated to nature hardly appear in my work. Maybe I think all that disturbs the experience,” says Hrafnhildur Inga. “The weather changes constantly, the subject matter is endless and fuels the psyche and creativity from all directions. There is no way to get tired of that magnificent masterpiece.”
Hrafnhildur Inga has held numerous solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions at home and abroad. This exhibition is the sixth solo exhibition at Gallery Fold, but she last exhibited here in 2021.
