Guesthouse Skeið is located in Tröllaskagi in a quiet place deep in valley Svarfaðardalur, surrounded by mountains and 18 km away from town Dalvík.

Tröllaskagi is a specially good place for those who want calm and peace. In Tröllaskagi and surroundings you can find interesting walking trails, whale watching, kayaking, horse riding, golf, ski resorts and many more. Tröllaskagi is a paradise for mountain skiers.

The guesthouse is located near many interesting places. For example it takes only 2-21/2 hours drive to Myvatn and Krafla and 1 hour to drive to Akureyri. In the winter time we recommend to be travelling by 4×4 cars if possible.
