“Refreshing sounds from the small northern Iceland” -Tonspion
“We are lucky in having discovered such a great upcoming artist” -Musicspots

Self-Pity is a guitar-driven, Strokes-influenced, high-tempo banger about the difficulties of being in a relationship with a depressed individual. Make of the music video what you will.

Myrkvi and his right-hand man, Yngvi Holm, are releasing an album together in 2023 called Early Warning. It represents a conclusion to the duo’s past and the transition into something new. An introspective reflection of their 90s roots, wasted years, and common lunacy.

“We believe our music can resonate with a lot of people and hope it can help others cope with the everyday madness, as it has done for us.”
