Tjörneshreppur is a municipality in Iceland. It is completely surrounded by the Norðurþing municipality. With population of 56 people, it’s a place where the sheep population vastly outnumbers human residents and the numbers of nesting birds among the cliffs reach dizzying heights in summer.
