Harpa – Where does the music come from?

Harpa is a magical place where music comes from every corner. What instrument is being played and where does the music come from?

Musician Már Gunnarsson leads children and families in a listening game around the music hall and looking for the music. They will go through the various nooks and crannies, concert halls and corridors of Harpa in a fun search for musicians hiding here and there.

The listening game starts by Hljóðhimnar on first floor 11:00 AM and lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Admission is free, but tickets must be booked through tix.is. Please note that the number of participants is limited and an adult must accompany each child.

Where does the music come from? is a new addition to Harpa’s family program and is produced in collaboration with Blindrafélagið and partly funded by the Childen’s Culture Fund of Iceland.

Guidance: Már Gunnarsson
Musicians in hiding: Yasney Rojano and Kristófer Rodriguez Svönuson.
