Can’t see

In the Marshall House in Örfirisey, on the west side of the Reykjavík Harbor, there is one restaurant and five galleries / exhibition halls in one house. In two of them, the Contemporary Art Museum and Kling & Bang, there are exhibitions at Sequences XI, the international art biennial in Reykjavík, which is now being held for the eleventh time. But the festival is supported by these two art galleries, as well as the Icelandic Art Center. The subtitle of the festival is; real time art festival The festival is an exhibition platform for local and foreign artists, and of course to enrich Reykjavík’s cultural life, making it even more colorful. This year’s curators are Marika Agu, Maria Arusoo, Kaarin Kivirähk, Sten Ojavee from Estonia. The artists showing are Bjarki Bragason (IS) Alma Heikkilä (FI) Antti Laitinen (FI) Elo-Reet Järv (EE) Guðrún Nielsen (IS) Gústav Geir Bollason (IS) Jóhannes S. Kjarval (IS) Kärt Ojavee (EE) Naufus Ramírez-Figueroa (GT) Ólöf Nordal (IS) Pakui Hardware (LT) Sigurður Einarsson (IS) and Þorgerður Ólafsdóttir (IS). The collective name of the shows is; Can’t see.
