This large Icelandic vehicle stood outside Hljómahöllin, specially designed to transport tourists through unfamiliar and rugged terrains. The first three cars, which are currently in production, have been bought to Greenland.

Great optimism in Vestnorden

Vestnorden, run by the North Atlantic Tourism Association (NATA), is a forum for cooperation between the friendly nations of Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Greenland in tourism. This year the trade fair will take place in Hljómahöllinn in Reykjanesbær. When the conference was launched this morning, the representatives of the nations said there was great optimism for the future of tourism in the three countries. After all, these countries have so much to offer. Incredibly diverse nature that always comes as a surprise. Good accommodation, world-class food, and varied and beautiful societies.

Members of the band Sigur Rós watch guests of the travel trade show intently. Hljómahöllin in Keflavík is the home of the Icelandic Museum of Rock and Roll.
