Græna kannan Organic Café

Sólheimar is considered the oldest eco-village in the world. Sólheimar were established as a children’s home 80 years ago, but today Sólheimar focuses on offering people with special needs varied and creative employment opportunities, jobs in organic horticulture and forestry in a close-knit community that focuses on environmental issues and vivid cultural life.

The Sólheimar Organic coffee shop, Græna Kannan, exclusively sells products made from organically cultivated raw materials, most made in the Solheimar all organic bakery, food processing and greenhouses.
Græna Kannan is open seven days a week from early June and continuing until late August from 13-18r from 13-18 and additional hours by appointment. Winter hours are by appointment in exception to the hour following after Sunday worship services. During Advent, Græna Kannan is open daily.
