Hótel Varmahlíð located by Route 1 in Varmahlíð, in the heart of Skagafjörður.  It is a comfortable, small hotel, with 19 rooms. The hotel offers a variety of rooms: single-, double-, triple- and a family room where up to 5 people can sleep.  

The hotel restaurant offers an a la carte menu from June through August, as well as a menu for groups. For lunch we offer light meals or a buffet.  Over the winter months you need to order any meal in advance.  Hótel Varmahlíð is involved in a project called The Food Chest Skagafjörður, which concentrates on local cuisine from the Skagafjörður region .
