Rósa Valtingojer
Rósa is born 1983 in Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland. Rósa is one of the founding members of the Creative Centre and works as a Project Manager. Rósa is a ceramic and textile artist and studied Fine Arts at Fjölbrautaskólinn í Breiðholti, or until she graduated in 2003. Rósa produces hand crafted ceramic birds which are sold all over the country. Since 2007 she has been resident in Stöðvarfjörður and worked on several cultural and employment developing projects. Rósa has been a guest teacher at Konstfack in Sweden, and given lectures in Art & Design Universities in Czech Republic and Central Saint Martins in England. Central Saint Martins and the Creative Centre of Stöðvarfjörður formed a one year collaboration in the beginning days of the Centre in 2011.
