The King is coming

On Sunday, July 30th there will be a lot of activities at the Árbær open air museum. The townspeople are awaiting the arrival of His Majesty King Frederick VIII of Denmark and have decorated their houses, as well as street and the Town Square. Visitors can enjoy a visit to the Printer´s shop where the local printer will be at work, as well as a young lady who is drying salted Cod. In the farmhouse the lady of the house offers visitors to taste her freshly made Icelandic pancakes as well as showing them how the wool is spun into yarn. 

Light refreshments will be available at Dillon’s Museum Café.

Admission is free for children 17 years and younger, elderly over 70 years of age and disabled people
