Women are best/worst for women

The Marshall House (Marshallhúsið) by Reykjavík Harbor out on Grandi is a treasure. Both the building itself and the activities that take place in the building, with its four art galleries and one restaurant. i8 gallery has two exhibition spaces in the building where two female artists are currently showcasing their art. In the upper space is Cast of Mind, an exhibition by B. Ingrid Olson from Colorado in the USA (b:1987) and in the lower hall, Þula, the Icelandic artist Sunneva Ása Weisshappel (b:1989) has the exhibition Flagð/Jezebel where the artist investigates the complexity of  women’s multi-layered social pattern. Where hair, lace and nylon stockings meet us in diverse works about friendship and backstabbing in women’s relationships.
