Minjasafnið in Akureyri

Akureyri Museum has artifacts related to the region’s history on display, gardens & a 19th-century church.

There are also buildings outside the premises like Laufás heritage site and the homes of the authors Jón Sveinsson (Nonni), Matthías Jochumsson & Davið Stefansson, all very prominent names on the Icelandic literary scene.
