Bláfjöll Recreation and Ski Center, the biggest skiing resort in Iceland, is a half an hour’s drive from Reykjavík. There are 11 lifts in 3 different areas of Bláfjöll, including 2 chair lifts. They can carry up to 8.000 persons per hour. At night all the major slopes are well lit.
-Weather permitting 3,5 and 10 km tracks for cross-country skiing are compressed, 5 km of which are illuminated.
