Hotel Blanda
Hotel Blanda is a boutique hotel in the old town of Blönduós. The hotel was built in 1900 and expanded in 1943. The old town is filled with old, picturesque houses and is next to the ocean, by a black sand beach.
The hotel has many different sizes of rooms. Anything from single rooms to very big family rooms. The backyard is literally a black sand beach making the hotel excellent for long walks along the shore.
The area in and around Blömduós has something for everybody. There is golf, fishing, bird watching, seal watching, a textile museum, swimming pool, waterfalls and horse rentals.
