A tourist from China has woken up early and takes a selfie at the top of the hill before 8 in the morning.

Brightly green tussock by the harbour

A large tussock – Þúfa, artwork by Ólöf Nordal, stands by the entrance of Reykjavík Harbour. At the top of the tussock is a small wooden shed where fish is being dried. The artwork was erected by the fish processing plant HB Grandi (now Brim) in 2013, but the company is housed next door. At the top of the 8m high hill you get a great view of the harbour and city centre. Harpa Music and the conference hall can be seen to the left of tussock, but it opened in May 2011.
