Hraunsnef Country Hotel is located in the beautiful Borgarbyggð district, not far from Bifröst University.

Hraunsnef Country Hotel is located on the western part of Iceland in the beautiful Borgarbyggd district, with sublime hilltop setting just by Bifröst university. The hotel is a new two story building with reception, restaurant and dining halls on the first floor and rooms on the second floor. Each room has a separate entry and includes a private bathroom, television and soothing bed. Hot tubs are by the farm stream in the beautiful nature. Each room has the same facilities: separate entrance, television, private bathroom, bath robe and slipper.

Cabins – comfortable accommodations for tired and weary backpack travellers to lay out their sleeping bags in a cabin with private facilities an cooking facilities where you can cook your self or enjoy a meal in our restaurant.

Hot tubs filled with natural spring hot water and not only soothing and relaxing after a hard days work but also fun place for the whole family.

Playground for the children with sandboxes and trampoline.

Restaurant is open all year round. Open daily from 17-21.
