The Icelandic Eider Center is a small museum close to the Norwegian house. The Museum is dedicated to the education about eiderdown farming then and now.

Breiðafjörður, the fjord north of Stykkishólmur is  the biggest breeding grounds for the large Eider duck in the world. Learn how they breed them, how the down is harvested and cleaned.
